4. CPU issues in recent days - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
It seems that since the last minor patch last week, my CPU has been doing funny things. Every couple of minutes, for periods of 5-10 seconds, my CPU usage drops to almost zero and the Eve client freezes entirely ( Linkage ). No other applications...

5. Newbie Cosmos question - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
The agent was called Tagrina Angi, located in the Audesder system. I've never used her before so I can't have done the mission already and have a 9.43 standing with her corp and 5.42 with the faction (Minmatar).

6. Recon vs Scan Probe Launcher? - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Forgot to add: Scan Probe Launchers can also be used to scan moons for valuable minerals, but unless you plan on doing a lot of POS management, I would not advise this. A full guide to moon mining can be found in the Science and Industry section ...

7. Recon vs Scan Probe Launcher? - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Edited by: Jon Hawkes on 18/06/2008 11:24:06 Recon Proble Launchers scan much faster, but can only be used to scan down ships (plus drones and POS structures). They cannot be used to find exploration sites. Recon Probe Launchers use the follo...

8. Newbie Cosmos question - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
What does it mean when a Cosmos agent says "Sorry, I have no work available for you"? I have 9.4 standings with this agent so I'm assuming that is not the problem.

12. Question For The Mining/Industry Corps... - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I smell a war dec! But seriously, most corps, be they miners or PvPers will have at least 1 office in high sec somewhere if they want to allow for players to be able to pop in to apply.

14. What is the download/upload rate of eve? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I was able to run Eve for some time over a dialup connection and with the excepetion of a little market lag and avoiding large battles, I was able to run it without any major problems, so I can't imagine it takes up much bandwidth at all.
